What we can help you with

The GSNS is administered by the 'PhD and Talent Administration for Health, Natural Sciences and Technical Sciences', which is an integrated part of the Aarhus University administration.

The 'PhD and Talent Administration for Health, Natural Sciences and Technical Sciences' is responsible for administration of the PhD programmes at both the GSNS and the GSTS and provides services related to the following:

  • Application procedures
  • Enrolment and employment
  • Study permits for international PhD students
  • Information events
  • Study-related and employment-related counselling
  • Evaluations
  • Qualifying examinations
  • Defence of the PhD dissertation
  • Issuing of PhD certificates
  • Extensions, leave, maternity/paternity/sick leaves, etc.

Each PhD programme has its very own PhD partner, who serves as the administrative contact person for all matters related to that particular PhD programme.

Please don’t hesitate to contact your PhD partner, if you have any questions or experience any problems in connection with your PhD studies. If you have many questions or detailed problems, it is advisable to contact your PhD partner by e-mail or set up a meeting.
