A mandatory part of a fully SDC-financed PhD study is working in China for a total of 12 months. This also entails teaching obligations at the Sino Danish Center for Education and Research (SDC) in Beijing. However, it is only possible to get a maximum of 140 hours of teaching exemption from GSNS. Therefore, iNANO has decided that there will be no additional teaching responsibilities apart from the SDC teaching in the periods where fully SDC-financed PhD students are in Beijing.
